Springfield Emojis is the first emoji keyboard in the world of it's kind. One unique aspect of the SPFLD Emojis keyboard is the 'Events" category that features imagery for local events in the area. These emojis are very convenient and efficient because they allow people to quickly send information to their peers while also branding the event's marketing even further. Why not give people the opportunity to have discussions using your logos and communicate the message you've created. It's great for business and convenient for consumers. Makes sense.
Devin Hayes is an immensely talented singer, dancer, and all around entertainer from Athens, Illinois near Springfield. He has been putting out content for years through his Youtube channel, Instagram page, Twitter page, and FaceBook page. SPFLD Emojis happened to get in touch with Devin's management about doing an emoji for him to help spread the word and we were able to make something happen. Devin is appearing on an ABC television show called Boy Band that has Devin and his cast mates competing for a spot on America's next great band. The panel of judges (Emma Bunton, Timbaland, Nick Carter, and hosted by Rita Ora) selects who moves on to the next rounds but America will decide who wins. Help support Devin and share his image with friends! #TEAMDEVIN
Knight's Action Park is a childhood memory for nearly every kid that has grown up in this region. They have numerous water slides, putt putt, go carts, paddle boats, a driving range, and plenty of other activities to keep you entertained on a hot summer day. Unfortunately, people are people sometimes and some lady spread a rumor that there was a flesh eating bacteria in the water at Knight's and this created a viral-ish response around social media. The management at Knight's was wise enough to get on this thing early and they made some posts about it which were quickly picked up by the more level headed among us because let's face it....these parents need this water park to be open more than the kids do! To help clear Knight's good name, Springfield Emojis created this image to reassure people that "Hey, the water at Knight's is so clean you could probably drink it".....but you know....you still probably shouldn't :)
Chatham, Illinois has produced a inordinate amount of amazing athletes over the years. Kelci Bryant, Jayson Worth, and, more recently, several players drafted into the MLB. Chatham has also had an issue with their water supply and potential pollutants....which is actually kind of a serious thing. SPFLD Emojis decided to combine the two issues and have a little fun because....maybe there is something about that water huh?
Did you ever play that game as a kid where you imagined that you couldn't touch the floor or some part of the floor because if you did then it would burn you? Many kids did and they would call it "The Floor is Lava". For Illinois politicians, it seems as though coming up with a state budget is equally distasteful! This image depicts Governor Bruce Rauner and Speaker Mike Madigan avoiding the floor/budget like its lava. It's based on the popular meme to the right. If you're from Springfield or the surrounding communities, chances are you're aware of a popular FaceBook page called 217 Problems. Its a clever collection of user submissions and observational content about the regular goings on in this area....along with some not so normal activities! Springfield IL Emojis partnered with 217 Problems to create this image so that people could send it to each other and let em know that they are in fact a....217 Problem :)
It's hard to find a better weather team than Sprinfield's own Storm Team 20 lead by Cheryl Lemke and Joe Crain. They both do a great job making weather reporting fun and energetic and they really are a part of the community. Because of that, Springfield Emojis made dueling emojis for both of them based off the popular Salt Bae meme. We had a lot of fun meeting with Joe about his emoji and we hope Cheryl enjoys hers as well. Keep those good weather reports coming!
